The book I usually recommend to people who think that IQ differences between "racial" groups (whatever that means) are meaningful is "The Mismeasure of Man" by Gould. Gould certainly could and he wrote a paper in Science and then a book, The Mismeasure of Man, on the subject. One of the few books of Stephen Jay Gould I never read was his Mismeasure of Man.
